Popular Nigerian disc jockey DJ Cuppy has revealed that her encounter with Jesus Christ has significantly altered the course of her career in a way she describes as purposeful and fulfilling.

Cuppy, whose real name is Florence Otedola, made the statement in a reflective post shared on X (formerly Twitter), where she opened up about the shift in her life since dedicating herself to Christ.

“Was thinking this evening. Jesus really disrupted my DJ career plans o. But in the BEST way. Booked and busy means nothing if you’re not walking in purpose.” she wrote.

The 31-year-old daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola publicly rededicated her life to God in August 2024 during a service at Holy Trinity Brompton, a renowned church in London.

Since then, fans and followers have noticed a more reflective and faith-driven tone in her public messages. While Cuppy has not entirely stepped away from music or DJing, her recent comments suggest a redefinition of her goals.
