According to him, although accommodation remains one of the biggest financial challenges in London due to the high cost of rent, several other everyday expenses are more affordable than what residents typically encounter in Lagos.
He specifically mentioned the cost of food and chicken, arguing that people in Lagos could end up spending more on their lifestyle than those living in London.

“Lagos is more expensive to live than London, don’t let anyone deceive you. You’ll spend more money in Lagos on your lifestyle than you will spend here in London.
The only problem we have here is accommodation, rent is stupendously expensive, but aside that every other thing is affordable. Chicken is cheap, food is cheap. Lagos is very much expensive than UK like crazy, don’t let anyone tell you perhaps, especially Lagos Island,” he said.
