A Nigerian man has gone viral after claiming that a ₦270,000 NELFUND loan helped change the course of his life, enabling him to buy a new phone and begin a content creation journey that eventually earned him his first million.

Sharing his experience on social media, the man said he applied for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) earlier this year despite his parents having already paid his school fees. According to him, his decision was driven by the need to replace his faulty iPhone 7 as he prepared to graduate.
