A Canada-based Nigerian woman has publicly taken the same marital oath after her husband earlier vowed never to cheat on or divorce her following his relocation abroad.

The woman, identified as Ezinne Maryjane Nwanorue, shared a video in which she made a series of solemn promises to her husband, Franklin Chimaobim Nwanorue, declaring that she would remain faithful throughout their marriage.

Wife responds with her own public declaration
In the video, Ezinne introduced the message as her personal confession to her husband before making a religious vow.

“This is my own confession to my husband, Franklin Chimaobim Nwanorue. I, Ezinne Maryjane Nwanorue, I confess in the name of Jesus that I will remain faithful to my husband, sexually. And if I became unfaithful, let me die, in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
She also pledged to remain a loving wife and a devoted mother to their children, praying for God’s grace to sustain their marriage.
