A Nigerian lady has sparked debate online after sharing her opinion on the ongoing speculation surrounding content creators Peller and Jarvis, questioning why they would allegedly rush into parenthood at such a young age.
Speaking in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she argued that if the couple truly wanted to break the pattern of unsuccessful marriages in their family, they should have prioritised getting married before having a child.

According to her, there was no reason to rush into pregnancy only to begin planning a wedding shortly afterwards.

In her words:
“Peller and Jarvis are both young. If you know you want to break the pattern of marriage in your family, why rush the pregnancy and then want to get married to her in August? Make it make sense.

Those of you saying, ‘Why is Jarvis not proud of her pregnancy?’ Even if na me, shame go catch me. That’s why in that video she was trying her best to drag her gown so the pregnancy doesn’t show.”
The lady further maintained that getting married before the baby arrives would not necessarily mean the couple had broken any family pattern if the pregnancy happened before marriage.

She also advised them to take inspiration from singer Mr Eazi and his wife, Temi Otedola, noting that they dated for years before eventually tying the knot.

“Why can’t you learn from Mr Eazi and Otedola’s daughter? Those guys dated for many years until they got married. Otedola’s daughter never planned on having a child for Mr Eazi,” she added.
