Doctor shares how neighbour tried to matchmake her with son in the US

A Nigerian doctor has shared how her neighbour allegedly attempted to arrange a marriage between her and her son, who lives in the United States.

In a video circulating on social media, the doctor recounted that her neighbour asked whether she would like to relocate to the US.

 

After she answered in the affirmative, the woman reportedly called her son on a video call and pointed the camera at her.

 

According to the doctor, the neighbour later asked her to help check her blood sugar level before she left, after which the son called again, saying he wanted to speak with her and have another look at her face.

 

The doctor jokingly concluded that she believes she may be heading to the United States through the unexpected matchmaking effort.

She said in part …

 

“The woman staying around my house called me and asked if I want to travel to the U.S I said Yes and she called her son and said she wants to show him something and pointed the camera to my face, then she said I should help her check her blood sugar levels later and before I left her son called again and said he wants to talk to me and see my face properly, I think I’m going to the U.S…”
