“You are just a ranting internet stranger” — Lady slams those dragging Real Warri Pikin

Social media personality and businesswoman Ifedayo Agoro has weighed in on the controversy involving comedian Real Warri Pikin and her husband following her recent video with music star Timaya.

Agoro questions criticism of Real Warri Pikin’s husband

In a video shared on social media, Agoro questioned why some people expect husbands to publicly condemn or leave their wives whenever they disapprove of something a woman has done.

She said she was particularly concerned by reactions to Real Warri Pikin, noting that some social media users had described her husband as “weak” and a “simp” for supporting her.

Agoro asked why the responsibility of “punishing” a woman for actions that people disagree with should fall on her husband.

‘Who are you to advise someone to leave his wife?’

The businesswoman also criticised people who send private messages to the husbands of successful women, urging them to leave their marriages.

She said such people were making assumptions about marriages they were not part of.

“You are embarrassing yourself by sending DMs to people’s husbands, telling them, I’m sorry for you, the marriage you are in, you should leave your wife.”

Agoro questioned why outsiders believed they knew enough about another couple’s relationship to determine whether the marriage was working.

‘Why do you want the woman to suffer?’

She further asked what some critics hoped to achieve by wanting a woman to suffer for an action they disliked.

According to her, some people appeared to want to see women lose their marriages, deactivate their social media accounts or be publicly embarrassed by their husbands.

“What exactly are your expectations? All of you mob, all you want is to see the woman suffer.”

Agoro argued that outsiders could not know whether a husband was genuinely unhappy in his marriage simply because he chose to support his wife.

Agoro also challenged the assumption that a man supporting a successful or outspoken wife was necessarily weak.

She said successful women could have fulfilling marriages despite criticism from people outside their relationships.

“Who told you that this husband that you’re calling weak and simp are not the real backbones of their wife? Who told you that they’re not happy?”

She concluded by telling social media users that their opinions did not determine the success or failure of another couple’s marriage.

“You are just a ranting internet stranger. Your vote in how successful their marriage is does not count.”
