Woman shares surprising story of how she met her husband

A Nigerian lady, Nneka Agwu, has shared the surprising story of how she eventually became the wife of a man who was initially planning to marry another woman.

Agwu revealed that her husband had already told her he was involved with someone else when they met in 2016.

According to her, she did not interfere because she was young at the time and believed he had been honest with her about his relationship.

 

‘He Told Me He Had Someone’

Recounting her experience in a Facebook post, Agwu said her husband made it clear from the beginning that another woman was in his life.

 

She explained that she deliberately refused to question him about the relationship, despite her best friend encouraging her to confront him.

Agwu said she felt there was no reason to challenge him because he had already been honest with her.

 

She wrote:

 

“In 2016 when I meet my husband he told me clearly that he had someone.”

 

She added that she initially did not care about the situation because she was still very young.

 

He Was Planning an Introduction With Another Woman

According to Agwu, she later discovered that her husband was secretly making plans to have an introduction with the other woman after they had been dating for about a year.

 

She said this was when she realised that she had no reason to blame him because he had previously told her about the other relationship.

 

Her husband eventually ended their relationship for the second time.

 

However, Agwu said they resumed communication only a few days later and began talking as though nothing had happened.

 

‘The Girl Postponed the Introduction’

Agwu said she eventually discovered the reason behind his return to the relationship.

 

According to her, the woman he had intended to marry had postponed their introduction for another year.

 

Rather than question her husband about what had happened, Agwu said she pretended not to know why their relationship had resumed.

 

She wrote:

 

“Only for me to find out that the girl postpone the introduction for another year, I pretended like I didn’t know what went wrong lol.”

 

The couple subsequently continued their relationship for another year before getting married.

 

‘That Led to Being His Wife’

Looking back, Agwu said the unexpected turn of events eventually paved the way for her to become her husband’s wife.

 

She wrote:

 

“My husband and I continued the relationship for another beautiful year that led to being his wife.”

 

Her revelation sparked mixed reactions online, with some people arguing that she was only chosen because the other woman had postponed her introduction.

 

Agwu, however, responded to her critics by accusing them of being jealous.
