“I told her several times not to kneel” — Husband sends wife away after she knelt for pastor

A woman has shared how her husband sent her back to her father’s house after she knelt to greet their pastor during a church service.

According to the woman who shared the story, the husband had repeatedly warned his wife against kneeling for any pastor, insisting that she should accord him the same level of honour.

The woman reportedly told her husband that she and other church members traditionally kneel when greeting their pastor because they regard him as their spiritual father.

 

Wife apologises but husband remains upset

The disagreement reportedly came to a head last week when the couple attended church together and the woman once again knelt to greet the pastor.

 

After they returned home, the husband reportedly asked her to leave and return to her father’s house.

According to the account, the wife apologised and explained that her action was part of the church’s practice, but her husband was allegedly unwilling to accept the apology.

 

The woman is now said to be staying at her father’s house while her family members continue to plead with the husband to reconsider his decision.
