“We Spent ₦10 Million On The Hall Alone”- Simi Dapson Opens Up On Wedding Expenses

Nigerian media personality Simi Dapson has opened up about the cost of her wedding, revealing that the amount spent on the celebration was far beyond what many people might expect.

Speaking about wedding expenses, Simi explained that while some people may consider ₦80 million a huge budget, it may still not be enough to achieve a lavish wedding experience, depending on the expectations and choices involved.

According to her, couples can plan an ₦80 million wedding, but the final outcome will depend on several factors, including the scale, location, and level of luxury they want.

“80 million naira is actually too small for a wedding. You can still have an 80 million naira wedding, but the results may vary,” she said.

Simi further disclosed that the total amount spent on her own wedding was so significant that she stopped keeping track of the expenses along the way.

“If I mention the amount we spent at my wedding, I might get picked up. We started calculating everything we were spending, but at some point, we stopped because it was too much,” she revealed.

Giving an insight into some of the major expenses, the media personality stated that the venue alone cost millions of naira, noting that they spent ₦10 million on the hall where the wedding ceremony was held.

“We spent 10 million naira for the hall that was used,” she added.

Her revelation has sparked conversations online, with many Nigerians sharing their opinions about the rising cost of weddings and the financial pressure often associated with planning grand celebrations.
