Apostle Arome Osayi, founder of Remnant Christian Network (RCN), has said he will no longer discuss his spiritual encounters online, following criticism over his claims of seeing Jesus Christ, angels and other supernatural experiences.

The cleric made this known in a video circulating on social media, where he explained that some people had accused him of using his alleged encounters to advertise his spirituality.

Osayi, however, maintained that his experiences were genuine, insisting that encountering angels was part of his calling and not something he could simply stop experiencing.

“I’ve decided that I will no longer be discussing my encounters online because people believe that I’m advertising my spirituality, that he’s saying that he sees angels. I see them almost every day. You cannot use the Bible to contradict that kind of encounter,” he said.

Defending his position, the preacher argued that people who maintained a close relationship with God in the Bible also encountered angels.
“People that were right with God in the Bible, they saw angels. I see them. It’s part of my calling,” he added.

He further maintained that deciding not to discuss the experiences publicly would not mean they had stopped happening.

“There’s no way you’d think that I would say, okay, I don’t see them again. No. I have seen some things in heaven,” Osayi said.

The cleric also hinted at future events he claimed to have foreseen, saying some of his revelations had yet to come to pass.

“I will tell you some that have not yet come to pass, so that when it happens, you will know that I told you,” he stated.

Osayi subsequently warned that some people would be displaced in the coming days, attributing the alleged development to their refusal to dedicate themselves to God.

“You are going to see in the days to come, people that will be displaced. The reason for the displacement is because of a refusal to consecrate themselves to God,” he said.

Damina addressed the matter during a church service on October 8, 2026, after receiving messages from people asking him to respond to the videos.
More recently, veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo joined the debate, publicly questioning Osayi’s claims about visiting heaven in a video shared on Instagram on October 19.
Despite the criticism, Osayi has continued to defend the reality of his spiritual experiences, maintaining that his decision to stop discussing them publicly should not be mistaken for a denial of what he claims to have seen.
