In an official statement shared on his instagtam page, Shalipopi revealed the reasons behind his departure from Dapper Music.

Specifically, Shalipopi cited a lack of transparency regarding his personal finances, a conflict of interest that threatened to sabotage his music career, and an unfair ‘forever deal’ as the reasons for his departure.
Additionally, Shalipopi urged fans to dissociate themselves from endeavors involving him and the record label, while acknowledge their unwavering support.

“I come to you today with a heavy heart. I’m officially ending my agreements with Dapper Music. I had to take this decision after my trust was broken, my finances mishandled, and my rights as an artist were disregarded. I’ve worked hard and deserve to know where my money is going. I was denied access to my money”.
