A Nigerian pastor, Miebi, has made fresh allegations against billionaire businessman King Ochacho, linking his claims to the ongoing controversy surrounding the alleged N400 million house reportedly given to social media influencer Peller.

According to the cleric, he invested $180 million in a real estate transaction facilitated by a company identified as Ochotori OMS in November 2020.
He explained that the investment was made as part of a financial security arrangement for Baraza, a cooperative society involved in forex trading.

Pastor Miebi alleged that properties worth about N600 million were supposed to be developed as part of the deal but were never completed. He claimed that after three weeks, only N10 million was returned to him, leaving N170 million outstanding.
The pastor further alleged that Ochacho later claimed the remaining funds had been repaid to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). However, Miebi said he had not seen documentary evidence from the EFCC or its charter supporting the claim.

He subsequently connected his experience to the controversy surrounding the house allegedly gifted to Peller, questioning the documentation behind the property.

Miebi claimed that, in his own transaction with Ochacho, he received both a Power of Attorney and a deed of title relating to the property.

However, he alleged that Peller was only given a Power of Attorney and that there was no deed of gift or other document establishing legal ownership of the property.

“In Peller’s case, he gave a Power of Attorney. There’s no deed of gift till today. There is no document that shows that that property belongs to Peller,” he said.

The pastor also questioned claims surrounding the timeline of construction on the property. He argued that if construction only started after Peller’s wedding on August 1, it would be difficult for a three-storey building to have reached its reported stage within such a short period.

According to him, concrete decking requires a curing period of about 28 days, making the claimed construction timeline questionable in his view.

Pastor Miebi said he had previously refrained from making the allegations public because an intermediary had contacted him on Ochacho’s behalf to request a private discussion.

He added that he was giving the businessman what he described as “one final opportunity” to address the matter before he releases more information.
