A Nigerian man has gone online to share a piece of advice he just received from his lawyer concerning car documents.
According to him, his lawyer warned that police officers in Nigeria have no legal right to demand car particulars from drivers. He claimed the lawyer told him that only Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO) — the officials in white uniforms — are empowered to check such documents.
