Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s wife, Nomthi, to be buried on November 30

The wife of Lagos pastor, Taiwo Odukoya, Nomthi, will be buried on November 30.

According to the funeral arrangement which was released by the family on yesterday, November 12, a Night of tribute will be held in her honor at the Fountain of Life, Ilupeju, Lagos on Monday, November 29.

Pastor Nomthi died on November 9 after a two-year battle with cancer.

Pastor Taiwo in his social media post, said he loved her with all his heart but he has to accept the will of God.

“She gave me 11 beautiful years of marriage and two wonderful boys, who I know will be very significant in life. I loved her with all my heart but who am I to fight the will of God,” he wrote.

Taiwo and Nomthi who wedded in January 2010, are senior pastors of the Fountain of Life Bible Church, a Pentecostal church in Ilupeju, Lagos.

Mr Odukoya’s first wife, Bimbo, was a popular televangelist who died in the ill-fated Sosoliso crash on December 10, 2005.
