‘Leave My Name Out!’- Toyin Abraham Reacts After Being Dragged Into Uche Montana Comparison

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has reacted after her name was mentioned in an online debate comparing her movie performance metrics with that of colleague Uche Montana.

The controversy began after a user identified as @Champagne_girl_ on X (formerly Twitter) made a post comparing the performance of different Nigerian actresses’ movies, claiming disparities in streaming numbers.

The post read:
“Toyin Abraham that has a huge fanbase joined with Imisi fans used one week to hit 3M and Uche Montana movie Monica part 2 is hitting 5M+ views barely 24hrs, I doubt it’s organic views.”

The comment quickly gained traction, prompting Toyin Abraham to respond directly, distancing herself from the comparison and asking to be left out of the discussion.

“Please leave my name out of this, she’s big and she’s good. Won sepe fun yin ni, let her shine and leave my name alone. Kilode gan,” she wrote.

Her reaction has since sparked mixed responses online, with users debating celebrity comparisons, fan rivalry, and the ethics of public performance analysis in the entertainment industry.
