Jane Eugene reportedly arrested in US over 26-year visa overstay

Jane Eugene, lead singer of the 1980s British R&B group Loose Ends, reportedly arrested by US immigration officials for overstaying her visa by 26 years.

According to reports, Eugene was detained at the Niagara Falls border after being denied entry into Canada on May 3, 2025, despite applying for a green card in 1999 that was denied.

She had been living in Los Angeles and performing with a US-based version of Loose Ends.
