Popular singer, Iyanya seeks to reward a nurse who was confronted and ridiculed by her colleagues for showing up to work despite the national strike action by the union.

Recall that days ago, nurses in the country had gone on strike to protest over unmet demands, including improved welfare, fair allowances, and better working conditions in federal health institutions.

A video which popped up online shows an elderly nurse who was being mocked by her colleagues for coming to work despite the strike.

The video sparked sympathy from Iyanya who sought to gift her 500K.

However, some netizens opine that he would only be rewarding bad behaviour as the strike was a collective action which she ought to be a part of.

A nurse decided not to go on strike so she can save lives being at work is bad behavior to you? She is an essential worker and she deserves some compensation, and the way she was humiliated was wrong.
