“It’s been a 3-year journey”- Man goes viral after staying up to check JAMB result, score sparks buzz

A Nigerian man who stayed up to check his Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) result has gone viral online after displaying his score.

The man, identified as @Reborn-MOD on X (formerly Twitter), disclosed that he enrolled for JAMB last year and had an aggregate score of 305.

 

‎Man Speaks Out

‎According to the X user, despite writing JAMB twice, he is yet to get an admission offer to study his desired course, Medicine.

 

‎”All the late nights, the effort, and the discipline are finally paying off. It’s clearer now than ever that my dream is within reach”, He stated.

 

‎Man Displays 2026 UTME Result

‎A screenshot attached to his tweet revealed his aggregate UTME score as 328, with 86 in Physics, 81 in Biology, 95 in Chemistry, and 66 in English language.

He further sought financial support for his academic journey, emphasizing, “I’d truly appreciate any financial support towards my academic journey”.

 

JAMB Candidates Abducted

Meanwhile, gunmen abducted 14 JAMB candidates, along with other passengers, in Benue State on their way to partake in the examination.

 

The incident occurred on April 15, 2026, along the Makurdi-Otukpo road.

 

The driver and one passenger managed to escape, while the others, mostly young men and women, were taken into the forest.
