Popular beauty entrepreneur and influencer, Diadem, has opened up about her painful experience in an abusive relationship, revealing how she allegedly endured repeated physical violence before walking away.

Sharing her story online, Diadem disclosed that she noticed troubling signs before marriage discussions began, but ignored them because she believed her partner truly loved her.

“Before I got pregnant, I started noticing the signs in the way he spoke to his maids, but I convinced myself that because he loved me, he would never treat me that way,” she said.

According to the influencer, things became worse after she became pregnant.

When I finally got pregnant, everything changed,” she added.

Diadem further revealed that she already knew deep down that the relationship would not lead to marriage even before their introduction ceremony.

“Deep down, I knew two weeks before our introduction that I was not going to marry him.”

Narrating the extent of the alleged abuse, she said people around her often noticed the physical effects of the violence she experienced.

“I went through a lot of abuse during that period. People who saw me would ask if I had been hit by a car.”

In one of the most emotional parts of her revelation, Diadem claimed she sometimes pretended to faint just to stop the beatings.
