Popular Nigerian entertainer, Peller, resumed his livestream on social media on Friday, sharing details of his recent week-long detention.

The magician and social media personality explained that he was held after an incident involving a car crash.

He told his fans, “We’re free, they don free me. Don’t worry this time around, una go enjoy. I suffered. I was in prison for one week. Things were stressful for me. I explained to the police, explained to everybody. I did not purposely do what I do. Thank you guys for coming out for me to tell them to free me, you shall never perish.”

Peller added that he had told the authorities from the start that the crash was unintentional and expressed relief at being released.

The entertainer recounted how stressful the week was and thanked fans and supporters who advocated for his freedom.

His livestream, which quickly went viral, showed him in high spirits despite the ordeal, emphasising that he had no ill intentions regarding the crash.
