A man has shared the story of his uncle, claiming he chose to return to Nigeria after his marriage in the United States (U.S) ended in divorce over allegations of infidelity.

According to the narrator, his uncle had worked for years in Nigeria, built considerable wealth and later relocated his wife to the U.S.

He alleged that although the man had been unfaithful in the past, his wife eventually filed for divorce years later, reportedly demanding child support, taking two houses and seeking alimony.
In his words, he said:

“He cheated multiple times, but the last time was about 15 years ago. She brought it up, divorced him, took child support, took his two houses in the U.S. and still wanted alimony.”
The man claimed his uncle refused to continue the legal battle and instead returned to Nigeria, saying he would rather remain there than keep fighting the case in the United States.

He further alleged that the ex-wife later lost both properties because she could not afford to maintain them.

“He told them to come to Nigeria if they wanted to fight for alimony. Years later, when his eldest daughter turned 24, she came to Nigeria to look for him. He explained everything to her, and she forgave him. They reconnected,” he added.
