A Nigerian woman identified as Ada has shared a deeply personal account of how her once-admired marriage fell apart after her husband allegedly impregnated their domestic worker.

Ada made the revelation on Facebook while responding to questions about why she is raising her four sons alone in Canada.

According to her, the incident occurred while she was abroad to give birth to their fourth child, a period she said marked the beginning of the breakdown of her marriage.

“A lot went wrong. A whole lot. But the highlight of it was that he impregnated my maid,” she said.

Ada revealed that she formally requested financial support from her ex-husband, but he allegedly ignored her letter, while his family also failed to respond.
