Nollywood actress Ronke Ojo, popularly known as Ronke Oshodi-Oke, has praised her colleague, Funke Akindele, describing her as a kind and generous woman despite her strict personality.

In a recent interview, Ronke admitted that Funke is very strict and said the actress herself is aware of that side of her personality. However, she maintained that those who know Funke well would attest to her kindness and willingness to help others.

According to Ronke, Funke is the type of person who can turn someone’s sadness into happiness whenever they visit her home.

“Funke Akindele is a good woman. She’s very strict oo, even Funke herself says it that she knows she’s strict, but if you know her well, you will know that despite her strictness, she is very, very kind.” she said.
Ronke further revealed that Funke has helped people both within and outside the entertainment industry, including strangers she comes across on social media.

She recalled how Funke supported her financially when she was ill, stressing that the actress has done a lot for her even before her health challenge.
“When I came out back then that I was ill, if not that it’s not good to mention the exact figure online, but the money Funke gave me… She is a generously good and blessed person,” she added.

Ronke stated that she was not praising Funke because she currently works with her, noting that she had not even featured in any of the actress’s recent movies.

She also said Funke often comes through for people facing difficult situations, including those she does not personally know.

Ronke concluded by describing Funke as a wonderful person who genuinely cares about the wellbeing of others and quietly offers assistance whenever she learns that someone is in need.
