Nollywood actress, Funke Etti has opened up about an experience with a movie director who she said tried to lure her into having sex after she was promised a lead role.

The actress shared the account during an interview with Doyin Kukoyi, explaining that she had been on a movie set when the producer told her she would play the lead character.

According to Funke, the director later asked her to meet him in his room. She said she agreed because she regarded him as someone in a position of authority.

Funke Etti said the meeting took an unexpected turn when the director allegedly tried to make sexual advances towards her.
The actress said, “He tried to lure me into having sex with him, but I refused.”

She further alleged that the director subsequently went to the producer and questioned her suitability for the role after she rejected him.

Funke said, “Shockingly, after I said no, the director went behind me to tell the producer that I wasn’t perfect for the role – just because I refused him.”
