Actor Yul Edochie’s first wife, May, has come under fire from controversial actress Esther Nwachukwu for not forgiving him after he married a second wife.

Recall that Yul Edochie revealed in April 2022 that he had married and had a child with Judy Austin-Edochie, another one of his colleagues.

His first wife, May, became enraged by this and said that she would not be coerced into accepting polygamy. She also expressed her disapproval with his choice to take a second wife.

She wrote;

“To reaffirm my stands, I will not be cajoled into accepting polygamy, which goes against my beliefs, faith, and values. I will not be numbered in a home that we started building with love, faith, tears, hopes, and prayers in a Catholic marriage of 18 years following a long term premarital relationship.”

Tragically, on May 30, May Edochie lost her 16-year-old son, Kambilichukwu, to the cold, cruel hands of death.

After the young boy died, Esther criticized May on social media for refusing to forgive her husband and allow peace to reign when he married Judy.

Before the second wife saga, she claimed the grieving mother was searching for a way out, and she seized the chance when he married Judy.

Instead of standing by her husband through good times and bad, she allegedly played the victim card and utilized her husband’s failing to her advantage.

Esther nwachukwu wrote;

“Don’t #marry a woman who has the spirit of unforgiving . There was no domestic abuse nothing of such. Just cos he married a second wife . Yes it’s heart breaking and yes it’s disrespectful . What happened to the the oath? What happened to for better for worse? What happened to forgiveness?

You used the opportunity as if you waited patiently for him to make the mistake then u kuku strong ur heart and refused to forgive. Where was all these brands when ur marriage was going on well ? Influencer isonu.
