Political aide Ossai Ovie Success has criticised social media activist Verydarkman following the activist’s return to Nigeria amid speculation that he could be arrested.
In a statement shared online, Ossai Ovie Success argued that Verydarkman’s supporters were mobilised to the airport based on fears of a possible arrest that ultimately did not occur.

He claimed that the activist may have expected an arrest and the publicity that could come with it but was instead met with a different outcome.

Ossai further stated that if security agencies genuinely intended to arrest an individual, supporters gathered at the airport would not be able to prevent such action.
