Do2dtun Expresses Concern Over 2Baba’s Apology Video

Popular Nigerian OAP, Do2dtun, has voiced serious concern for legendary singer 2Baba following his recent emotional outburst online.

This comes after 2Baba stirred public debate during a recent appearance on Nedu’s podcast, where he controversially stated that men are not biologically built to remain sexually committed to one woman. While noting that a man could love a woman, he insisted it’s difficult for him to stay sexually faithful to just one partner.

However, the music icon later seemed to backtrack on his comments. In a video shared on Instagram, 2Baba admitted to making a mistake and publicly apologized to his wife, Annie Idibia, whom he called the love of his life, as well as his children and fans. “I messed up. That’s not who I am,” he confessed in the clip.

Reacting to the incident, Do2dtun took to social media to share his thoughts, stating that the video was troubling and out of character for 2Baba, who is known to stay private and rarely addresses issues publicly.

“This doesn’t look like the 2Baba we know. He’s not okay, and this isn’t good at all,” Do2dtun tweeted.

He further hinted that someone might be exploiting the singer’s emotional vulnerability, suggesting that 2Baba is being pushed to present himself in a way that isn’t true to his personality.

Expressing frustration, Do2dtun criticized whoever was behind the camera filming 2Baba’s apology, labeling it as insensitive and manipulative. He urged that the singer undergo professional therapy or psychological evaluation.

The OAP stated that the singer requires therapy or an authentic assessment, as there appears to be an issue. He emphasized that trauma and fear can render an individual vulnerable, particularly when they are outside of their comfort zone.

“Please, I don’t like this 2afce I’m seeing. Something is not right at all. He can express himself how he chooses to, but why always make him retract a video or apologise like a child?. He is vulnerable, and& someone is milking it. Whoever is holding that camera is wicked.

Someone is forcing him to be who he is not. 2face hardly addresses anything, even in his worst scandals. He never addresses anything like this. Something is wrong. He is regressing, and I hate it.

I don’t care what his personal life or choices caused for him, cos that will be our 1st choice of defence. We can’t all judge him sometimes. He can’t be wrong all the time. Even if he is, I won’t replace the masterpiece he created for his mistakes. This isn’t looking good at all.

The apology video might be necessary to the cause it chooses to convey, but why is it sacred to just speak your truth as he lives it? The person letting him do these videos is not making him do it for his brand but for themselves. Someone is taking advantage of his situation.

At this point, I’ll say this out loud. I think 2Face needs help. Therapy or genuine evaluation. Something is not right at all

I love him so much, and I don’t know how. We allow things to happen to people because we blame them all the time. How about we don’t and look at things critically? Everyone can make their choices, but not everyone deserves to live with them. We owe it to them to set them straight sometimes.

From experience, trauma and fear make you vulnerable, especially when you are out of your comfort zone, a happy or safe place. The floodgates will open up, and everything will seem right even when it is wrong, and vice versa. This is where you need your true friends. This is where a 2face needs a Sound Sultan. It’s quite sad.

It might sound like it makes no sense now. Give it a few years and we will come back to this conversation… iree o!”.
