“If your potential father-in-law or mother-in-law doesn’t like you, don’t even try it” – Toolz says as she speaks on 10 years of marriage

Nigerian media personality Toolz has shared insights from her decade-long marriage and offered advice to women preparing for marriage.

Speaking in an interview with Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Toolz admitted that her 10-year marriage to her pilot husband has not always been easy.

She noted that couples who remain happily married for many years often do so by working through challenges together.

She said her faith has been central to her marriage, explaining that she and her husband pray together frequently.

 

Toolz also praised her in-laws, describing them as the best, and revealed that her father-in-law played a significant role in their relationship by encouraging her to marry his son and even helping with her wedding ring.

Offering advice to intending couples, Toolz emphasized the importance of a good relationship with one’s in-laws.

 

She suggested that if a prospective mother-in-law or father-in-law strongly disapproves of the relationship, it is something that should be taken seriously rather than ignored.
