Portable and his boys arraigned for assaulting Government officials

Report coming in say that the controversial singer, Portable’s boys who assaulted government officials have been arraigned in court.

Recall that it was reported earlier that Portable and his boys hanged up and beat up some government officials who came to his bar to inspect the place.

According to reports, Portable clashed with the government officials from the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA) in a bar, Odogwu, in Iyana Ilogbo, Ogun State.

Sharing the details of what ensued between Portable and the government officials, popular influencer, @man_of_letters, took to his X page to disclose that the officials had arrived some days before the incident to go about their work.

The defendants who have been arraigned include Nurudeen Warris, 21; Adetola Alashe, 25; Samuel Adeleke, 28; Oluwaseun Ayenuwa, 19; Oluwapelumi Adeosun, 20; Gospel Kanu, 20; Precious Ohiegebo, 19; Ifeoluwa Babatunde, 27; and Fatimo Muhammed, 26—faced five charges, including assault, obstruction, possession of dangerous weapons, and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.

According to the court, Portable and his boys beat up the planning officers—Abidemi Onabanjo, Ramon Lateef, and Akinpelumi Oyero.

The singer and his boys were allegedly armed with guns and cutlasses when they clashed with the officials.

Portable is currently on the run while his boys have been granted a N50 million bail by the court.

The case has been adjourned to the 17th of March, 2025.
