A woman has warmed the hearts of many after surprising her house girl with several gift items in appreciation of her work in 2021.

The Kenyan lady identified as Effie Keens Kaano thought it wise to reward her domestic help of two years as she is set to go home for the holidays.

Taking to her Facebook page, she revealed that she gifted her house girl cash, a smartphone and another feature phone for her mum along with a handbag so that she would not go home for Christmas empty-handed.

Effie wrote; “She is just an employee like any other person. Like taking good care of my daughter every day is not an easy job plus the house and I thought because she is going home, a little token is everything.”
