Mohbad’s father appeals for help over delayed burial amid DNA test concerns

The father of late Nigerian singer Mohbad has made a public appeal for assistance as he continues to delay his son’s burial over the need for a DNA test.

In an emotional plea, he explained that the situation has been difficult, as he wants to confirm the paternity of a child believed to be his grandchild before proceeding with the burial.

According to him, burying his son without carrying out the test would make it impossible to resolve the uncertainty later.

He also revealed efforts to reach President Bola Tinubu for intervention, stressing that the delay has been painful for the family but necessary to achieve clarity.

“I’m pleading to the entire world, not just Lagos, for help. I’ve been trying to reach President Tinubu, I need to conduct a DNA test so I can finally lay my son to rest. It’s heartbr£aking that it’s taking so long to bvry him. However, if I bvry him now, how will I do the DNA test? Who will I test? I want to do the DNA test to know my grandchild”

The development adds another layer to the ongoing controversies surrounding the late singer’s death, with many Nigerians continuing to follow the situation closely and call for resolution.
