“Why we’re yet to confirm Hilda Baci’s new record” – Guinness World Records reveals

Hilda Baci of Nigeria has set a new record for the longest amount of time spent cooking, but Guinness World Records has not yet officially acknowledged it.

Remember how the Indian athlete Lata Tondon’s previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes was surpassed on Monday morning, May 15, by the 27-year-old from Akwa Ibom state.

At the time this report was submitted, Hilda Baci had already put in more than 90 hours of cooking.

Guinness World Records explained that the typical procedure is to analyze the data before confirming a record in response to a tweet from a Nigerian asking why the organization has not yet recognized Hilda’s new record.
