Tragedy strikes Chicago-based rapper, Mello Buckzz with her boyfriend, Devonte Terrell Williamson, reportedly murdered at her album release party.

The rapper hosted a party for her latest album release, “Hollywood“, which turned sour after a dark-colored vehicle pulled up and shots were fired into the crowd.

According to reports, the tragic incident that occurred on July 2, 2025, resulted in 18 fatalities.

Security operatives have swung into action over the tragic incident, with the culprits yet to be apprehended.

Meanwhile, Mello Buckkz has broken silence on the incident, sharing her grief via a series of Instagram posts.

Footage of the incident’s aftermath has surfaced online, triggering an outpouring of condolences.
