This was made public by Seun Kuti, the son of Afrobeats icon Fela Kuti, when he appeared as a guest on the popular Hip TV programme Trending.
Based on the reasoning that most people use to believe in God, Seun Kuti claims that he does not believe in God’s existence.

Seun Kuti revealed further during the interview, saying he doesn’t think there is a God who is watching and will hold people accountable for their deeds.
As evidence for his claim that God did not create the universe, the singer said, “How can God create human beings, his most prized possession, when 80% of them live in poverty around the world?”

Seun Kuti refused to believe in the existence of God adding that there is something but it is not the way we are told it is.
This comes few months after singer Omah Lay during an interview said that he doesn’t believe in any religion.
