Her death comes amid her battle with colon cancer, which she openly discussed, including chemotherapy and treatment approaches.

Tayta Games’ passing was confirmed by her twin brother, via an Instagram post.

Although, the circumstances surrounding her demise remain unclear.

Her twin brother paid tribute to her, celebrating her life and acknowledging the void she leaves behind.

Tayta Games Biography

Prior to her demise, Tayta Games was a talented American YouTuber and gaming influencer born on October 8, 2003, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Her real name is La’tayvia Deshay Ransom, and gained popularity through her Minecraft and horror game content.

She passed away on September 17, 2025, nine days before her 22nd birthday, which was scheduled for September 26, 2025.

Tayta Games amassed over a million followers across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, showcasing her engaging content.

Notably, she started with 400 subscribers in early 2023, which grew to over 420,000 subscribers by June 2025. She was known for her comedic reactions, raw commentary, and entertaining gameplay.

Additionally, she battled stage 4 coloon cancer diagnosis in May 2024, which spread to her liver, undergoing chemotherapy.

Tayta Games is survived by her twin brother, who supported her throughout her life and gaming career.

The circumstances surrounding her diagnosis and treatment have also raised concerns about healthcare disparities, particularly for young Black women.

Her last YouTube update came five months before her passing, where she mentioned experiencing side effects from chemotherapy.
