In a viral video shared on social media, the serviceman said he struggled to identify any specific advantage of being Nigerian while living in the country.

He said, “I didn’t know what to say. Come to think of it, there is not actually one single benefit of being a Nigerian in Nigeria.”

According to him, the situation made it difficult for him to mention even one thing he considered a benefit of living in Nigeria.
He further asked Nigerians to consider the question themselves, saying, “What is one benefit of being a Nigerian in Nigeria?”

The serviceman, however, praised Nigerians for their resilience and strong work ethic, particularly those who have built lives outside the country.

He said, “Nigerians all over the world are the most resilient, hard-working people you can ever get.”

Despite his admiration for Nigerians, he drew a sharp distinction between being Nigerian and living in Nigeria.

According to him, “The idea of being a Nigerian is mind-blowing, but the idea of being a Nigerian in Nigeria is demeaning.”

He subsequently challenged his viewers to prove him wrong by identifying an advantage he may have overlooked.
