Nigerian filmmaker Ugezu J. Ugezu has taken a swipe at former presidential aide Reno Omokri over his ongoing criticism of Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

In a strongly worded post shared via Instagram, Ugezu accused Omokri of accepting what he described as the “riskiest assignment ever taken by a mortal in Nigeria’s shady political landscape” referring to Omokri’s consistent efforts to discredit Obi on social media.

He warned that the consequences of this role would be severe, claiming that Reno would struggle to recover from what he termed ‘self-induced ruins’, and even went as far as saying that “the universe itself is against him.”
Ugezu further condemned those who choose to remain silent despite knowing the truth, insisting that such silence would not shield them from the consequences.

This comes as Reno Omokri continues his relentless campaign against Peter Obi’s presidential ambition, vowing openly to work against the former Anambra State governor.
