The All Progressives Congress (APC), presidential candidate , Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Thursday evening, arrived in Abuja.
The former Lagos State governor has been away from the country for almost 12 days.
Tinubu’s arrival comes hours after President Muhammadu Buhari’s Media Aide on Digital Communications, Bashir Ahmad hinted in a tweet that he (Tinubu) was expected to arrive Abuja.
“After days of intensive political consultations and meetings in London, our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is expected back in Abuja, later today.”
Festus Keyamo, spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign council, confirmed the arrival of the APC presidential flagbearer, as he posted a video of Tinubu’s alighting from his plane.
He tweeted; “The Eagle has landed”.
”He teased them; he played mind games with them; their thoughts went wild; but @officialABAT is the master of the game. Just when they thought they had something on which to feast, he’s rather the one now feasting on their naivety. Welcome back, the City Boy!”
