In a post that began trending this week, the lady recounted how a female content creator she met two years ago strongly discouraged marriage, urging women to “decenter men” and avoid romantic commitments.

According to her, the same influencer has now announced her engagement, raising questions about the authenticity of online narratives and the impact they have on followers.

 

“Two years ago I met a female content creator who was advocating for women to ‘decenter men’. She said she would never get married, didn’t trust men, and encouraged other women not to marry because marriage was like slavery. Yesterday she got engaged,” she said.
