Rapper Nicki Minaj is reportedly facing the risk of losing her $20 million Hidden Hills mansion in Los Angeles after failing to pay a court-ordered judgment linked to her husband Kenneth Petty’s 2019 assault case.

Court documents filed in October show that a German court had ordered Minaj and Petty to pay $503,318 to former security chief Thomas Weidenmüller.

In a report obtained by The Real Deal, Weidenmüller’s lawyers stated that,

“The dwelling is subject to a $13,258,000 mortgage lien and a $722,151 homestead exemption… yielding approximately $6 million in equity beyond the lien and exemption. That amount is more than sufficient to satisfy the judgment.”

Weidenmüller claims the couple has ignored repeated payment requests, prompting his legal team to seek a court order to sell Minaj’s mansion and recover the unpaid debt.

Neither Minaj nor Petty has spoken on the ongoing proceedings, and this legal battle adds to a series of controversies for Minaj this year.
