Tacha clarifies tattoo controversy, says image was not Davido’s face

Reality TV star Tacha has addressed the controversy surrounding a tattoo she previously had, which many people believed was an image of Afrobeats singer Davido.

Speaking in a recent interview, Tacha explained that the tattoo was actually the face of a child and not Davido’s, describing the public interpretation as misinformation.

She said she eventually covered the tattoo because people grow and change over time.

“The tattoo wasn’t Davido’s face, it was a kid’s face, but people thought it was Davido, and I covered it because people grow. It was misinformation. Even if I cleared the air, people would still run with it. I covered it because people grow,” she said.

Tacha had previously sparked conversations after getting a tattoo on her body that many people believed was the face of Afrobeats star Davido. The tattoo attracted public attention and speculation about her admiration for the singer.

In 2024, she had gotten rid of the tattoo through laser technique.
