Law firm issues ₦7m demand notice to 2baba and wife over alleged unpaid fees

A legal firm, C.S. Nworgu & Co., has issued a formal demand notice to Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, and his wife, Hon. Natasha Idibia, over an alleged unpaid professional fee of ₦7 million.

The letter, dated 31st October 2025, was addressed to the couple at their residence in Guzape, Abuja. According to the firm, their client, C.E. Nwogbo & Associates, facilitated the process that led to the couple renting a five-bedroom semi-detached duplex with a boys’ quarters located on Edwin Clerk Crescent.

The solicitors alleged that after securing the property for a two-year period, during which the couple reportedly paid ₦40 million upfront and agreed to pay another ₦40 million by December 2025, the Idibias failed to settle the professional fees charged for the service rendered in facilitating the tenancy.

The letter further claims that a cheque issued in an attempt to settle the payment was returned unpaid. The firm expressed surprise at the situation, noting that the outstanding fee represents the livelihood of employees who worked on the transaction.

Furthermore , the firm is demanding that the couple pay the ₦7 million within seven days, stating that failure to comply would prompt legal action to recover the amount.

C.S. Nworgu & Co. emphasized that the notice serves as a final request for settlement before litigation.
