The Lagos State Police Command has detained a woman named Esther Paul for reportedly killing her boyfriend, Sadiq Owolabi Dahiru, with a knife.

According to reports, the event happened early on November 20, 2022, in the early morning hours of Oba Amusa Street in Agungi, Lekki.

Kazeem Obafunso, the deceased’s stepfather, reported the event to the police in Ilasan right away.

The doctors at the Evercare hospital in Lekki Phase 1 verified that the late Sadiq had passed away.

Along with the murder weapon used to stab the dead person, Esther Paul was promptly taken into custody. The deceased’s remains has been placed in storage at the IDH Mortuary in Yaba for preservation and an autopsy.
