Nollywood star Kunle Remi has sparked online reactions after showing up at the premiere of Daniel Etim-Effiong’s new film, The Herd, with an unexpected item his wife Tiwi’s underwear.

The event, held at IMAX Lekki, was attended by several prominent Nollywood personalities. However, Kunle’s peculiar gesture quickly became the highlight of the night, drawing mixed opinions from fans and media outlets.

Explaining his action, the actor said it was a symbolic way of representing his wife, who couldn’t make it to the event.

In his words:

“Your wife could not be present physically, so she gave you a piece of herself. Randomly remembering how I started my morning.”

Clips shared online showed Kunle proudly displaying the underwear on the red carpet and even featuring it in snippets of his day from breakfast moments to his arrival at the movie premiere.
