Kidnappers kill APC National Director after taking N90 million ransom

The Director of Administration of the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr Abdulraif Adekunle Adeniji, has been killed by his kidnappers.

According to reports, Dr Adeniji was kidnapped on January 26, 2025 by gunmen wielding AK-47 rifles in the Chikakore area of Kubwa, within the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Dr Adeniji was abducted while paying his brother a visit when he was attacked by gunmen.

The kidnappers abducted the politician, his wife and his brother. However, his wife was shot dead after she failed to walk fast as instructed by the kidnappers.

APC’s Deputy Director of Administration, Ubagha Abel, in a statement on Thursday, April 9, disclosed that the party secretariat will remain closed till Monday as a result of the unfortunate development

The National Secretary has approved the closure of the National Secretariat from all party/work activities with immediate effect till Monday, April 14, 2025,” Abel said.

The decision was made after he had received the news of the sad demise of the Director of Administration Late Hon. Abdulraif Adekunle Adeniji, PhD.
