The controversy began after JAMB released a statement to clarify the start time for an upcoming examination, writing
“@PeterObi, Your Excellency, I must assert that our examination is scheduled to commence at 8:00 am, not 6:00 am. While verification and other clearance processes begins at 6:30 am, it is imperative that candidates are afforded adequate time…”

Pointing out the mistake, Henshaw quoted JAMB’s post and wrote:
“By the way @JAMBHQ, it’s not ‘while verification and other clearance processes BEGINS.’ It is ‘while verification and other clearance processes BEGIN!! I had all my education in this country. It was never this bad.”
