‎Nollywood actress, Bolatito Sowowunmi, who previously played the role of ‘Miss Pepeiye‘ in Papa Ajasco and Company , has broken silence amid the ongoing controversy surrounding her colleague.

‎Earlier, Fastrumours reported that during a recent interview with Lucky Udu, Abiodun Ayoyinka, the actor who previously played the role of Papa Ajasco, opened up about his financial struggles.

‎In a lengthy Facebook post, the actress called for an end to the backlash against Papa Ajasco, revealing that she resigned from the popular TV series due to undisclosed reasons.

‎The actress emphasized that she will never criticize Wale Adenuga Productions, stating that they have established a notable platform for creatives.

‎”They have done their part by creating a platform for creatives, It’s noble and appreciated. This is not the time for blame games. Everyone is pushing and doing their bit to survive. Especially in a country like Nigeria, where every thing seems hard”, She stated.

According to the actress, she doesn’t own the popular nickname ‘Miss Pepeye’, noting it has been trademarked by Wale Adenuga Productions.

“Miss Pepeiye is not mine is a copyright brand name of Characters registered ® under Wale Adenuga Productions. Anyone playing that role at the time , will have access to the name during the period of service in all”, She added.
