Influencer advocates for churches to make DNA tests mandatory before doing child dedication

A Nigerian Twitter Influencer identified as Shola, has said made a case for churches to conduct DNA tests on kids before accepting to do child dedication.

The young man made the advocacy on the heels of rising cases of paternity fraud in Nigeria and the world.

He said that pastors should not be blessing a child that may belong to a man other than the one that brought the baby for dedication, because it is a fraudulent act on the part of the mother.

Shola wrote; ”With the rate of paternity fraud in Nigeria and beyond, I think churches should make DNA test compulsory before any child’s dedication. A pastor shouldn’t be blessing fraud. It’s just not right.”
