A Nigerian man has taken to social media to cry out after popular TikTok sensation Peller sent him ₦1 million for mentioning his name to American streamer IShowSpeed, only for the transaction to be reversed shortly after.

The incident occurred amid IShowSpeed’s ongoing Africa tour to celebrate his 21st birthday, during which he recently arrived in Lagos, Nigeria.
During the visit, the streamer was seen moving through different streets and neighbourhoods under tight security.

Peller, however, reportedly attempted to meet IShowSpeed for a collaboration but was snubbed and bundled away by Speed’s security team.

Amid the excitement, a man was spotted shouting Peller’s name while pleading for a collaboration as the streamer passed by.
According to the man, shortly after making the shout, he received a ₦1 million alert, which he believed was sent by Peller as a gesture of appreciation for mentioning his name.

However, the excitement was short-lived.

He later claimed that the money was reversed, leaving him confused and distressed.

Taking to social media, the man shared screenshots and videos, explaining that he had already assumed the money was his before realizing it had been taken back.

He pleaded with Peller to look into the issue and resend the money if possible.
